iTunes 1 billion countdown contest

one billion. i can't even begin to picture what a billion of anything is. but apple can. apple's got visions of a billion one-dollar bills sitting along the wall of a vaulted room. and they're offering you a chance to get in on the action.

they're having a billion song countdown contest. the lucky bastard consumer who purchases the one billionth download from the iTunes music store will win:
• (1) 20-inch iMac
• (10) 60GB iPods
• (1) iTunes gift card bankrolled with $10,000 in credits

plus, for every 100,000th download, that consumer will win:
• (1) 4GB iPod Nano
• (1) $100 iTunes gift card
